The Liebster Award – Thank you!

I got nominated for the Liebster blog award! Thanks to http://ambrozya.wordpress.com/ I had never heard of the award, which is, ironically, for blogs with under 200 followers. It’s meant to give newbie/unknown bloggers some attention.

I’ll take it 🙂

The RULES of the award:

11 random facts about me

1.) I once worked crew (teardown) for a Paul McCartney show. Rolled his mic cables. At the time I did not care for the Beatles, but now I love them and wish I had paid more attention to the concert.

2.) I am a secret GI Joe fan. Not really a huge comic reader overall, but GI Joe has been a guilty pleasure of mine since childhood.

3.) Strong mints make me sneeze. Every time.

4.) I’m completely addicted to the Wii Just Dance games. I have all of them. It’s my favorite workout.

5.) I love tomatoes, but can’t stomach tomato juice or soup.

6.) I grew up riding horses and trained for dressage under an Olympian rider and his staff.

7.) I am normally a mellow/chilled out/social type of drinker, but one night I got really wasted and started ranting/crying about the 300 Spartans that died at Thermopylatae. I am NEVER EVER Drunk Crying Girl or Wasted Stupid Girl but for whatever reason, that night I was. This happened several years before the 300 movie came out, which makes it even more random, lol.

8.) I was first published in second grade, in a compilation for young Maine authors. Unicorn story.

9.) I consider black metal fine art

10.) I am terrified of cracked mud and high ceilings. This has something to do with the convent/nursing home my grandmother was in in New Brunswick. Not sure why, because nothing bad ever happened to me there. But if I see cathedral ceilings or dry mud I get the heebs.

11.) I can watch slasher flicks and be fine but show me two seconds of an actual surgery show and I am completely squicked out.
